Love, British style
Finding your other half, one cuppa at a time
Whether you met across a crowded pub, a crowded lecture hall or a crowded group chat, this is a little corner of the internet for UK couples who found their person. Expect warmth, a bit of mickey-taking and absolutely no judgement about how you take your tea.

Take a look →So, what is a soulmate anyway?
Ask ten Brits and you'll get ten answers, at least three of which involve someone who makes a proper cup of tea without being asked. For some people a soulmate is a lightning-bolt, first-sight sort of thing. For most of us it is quieter: the person you can sit in comfortable silence with on a rainy Sunday, who knows you'll want the last roast potato and lets you have it anyway (most of the time).
This site is a celebration of those people. Our guides to opposites attracting and like attracting like use made-up example couples (clearly labelled) to explore the big question of whether we fall for our mirror image or our missing piece. Our Real Stories page is where actual readers tell us, in their own words, how they found each other.
